Hello and welcome to The Gaming Corner. Here, we will discuss everyone's favorite topic: Games (mostly video games)! Some of the things we will be talking about is what's hot, and what's not, what makes a good video game, and share ideas!

Today's topic will be: Old-school games you want to see remade in current-generation graphics!

First off, I'd like to throw a shout-out to Volition! I still haven't forgotten about you guys and I remember when you guys were a small company before your fame from the Saint's Row series!

Please ignore the menacing spaceship.
A game I would like to see remade in current-generation graphics is Descent Freespace: The Great War.

Short Synopsis (No Spoilers): You take on the role of a fighter pilot leading a couple squadrons of fighters into space to do various tasks like scanning enemy cargo and defending allied ships. This is a first-person space combat fighter simulator.

"Why do you feel it should be remade?" you ask? I say this because it had a good storyline, the gameplay was great, and it was all-around fun. I've heard about the Source Code Project, a project done by modders in an attempt to remake Descent Freespace with better graphics but it, so far, doesn't have current-generation graphics. It merely uses the Descent Freespace 2 engine and graphics (which are better, but are still very outdated). Still, it is a very commendable effort to bring this once forgotten game back into the spotlight.

So I ask you guys, what old-school video game would you like to see in current-generation graphics?
